Ingredients for Sticky Rice
– 500g glutinous rice

How to choose fragrant glutinous rice
If you want to make delicious sticky rice, you should choose white and translucent grains that are even and shiny. How to cook sticky rice
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
Wash the glutinous rice with clean water 2-3 times. Add a teaspoon of salt to the rice and pour enough water to cover the surface of the rice about one finger’s length. Soak overnight.
Note: To make the grains of rice plump, sticky, fragrant, and prevent them from becoming tough, and to shorten the steaming time, you should soak the rice before steaming.

Step 2: Steam the sticky rice

Use the banana leaves to line the steaming tray, place the rice on top, spread evenly over the leaf. Then, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the rice and mix well. Next, evenly sprinkle the prepared pandan leaves on top of the rice.
Steam over medium heat for about 30-45 minutes. During the steaming process, open the lid regularly to wipe off the steam and use chopsticks to evenly mix the rice to ensure even cooking. Steam the rice until you see that it is plump, sticky, and tender.
