Tip: When buying lychees, choose ones with a milky white color, as those that are too white may have been bleached. Look for fresh lychees that are slightly soft to the touch.
2 How to Make Lychee and Pineapple Tea
Step 1 Prepare the Ingredients
Wash the lychees in a basin with 1 tablespoon of salt, clean water, and gently rub the lychees to remove any dirt. Then, drain the lychees and soak them in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Finally, rinse them again and set them aside to dry.
For the pineapple, peel and slice 200g of fresh pineapple into thin pieces.
Preparing the Ingredients
Step 2 Marinate the Lychees
In a large bowl, combine the lychees with 300g of sugar, 200g of sliced pineapple, and 300g of pineapple juice. Mix well and let it sit for about an hour for the sugar to dissolve.

Step 3 Cook the Lychees
Transfer the marinated lychees to a pot and place it over high heat until it boils. Then, reduce the heat to medium and stir the lychees occasionally. As the liquid reduces and becomes slightly thicker, stir continuously until most of the liquid has evaporated. Turn off the heat and let the lychees cool.
The cooked lychees can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
