As it was not yet at a critical stage, the doctor advised him to make lifestyle modifications. However, when Mr. Dat returned for a follow-up appointment three months later, he left the doctor astonished.

“The patient’s appearance had transformed so drastically that I was taken aback. He went from having a protruding belly to a muscular and toned physique, and all his test results returned to normal,” said Dr. Tiep Kien Xiao, Tân Trúc Hospital (according to China Times)

When asked about his secret, Mr. Dat revealed that for the past three months, he had diligently practiced two basic yet effective exercises: push-ups and sit-ups.

“Push-ups and sit-ups help burn excess fat in the abdominal area while promoting muscle building. Their simplicity, lack of required equipment, and suitability for people of all ages are notable advantages,” explained Dr. Tiep Kien Xiao, China Times.

Regular exercise aids in expending excess energy, particularly visceral fat, which is a primary contributor to fatty liver disease. Additionally, daily physical activity improves metabolic function and helps regulate blood sugar levels more effectively.

Reinforcing Dr. Xiao’s sentiments, leading medical experts emphasize the critical importance of exercise in combating fatty liver disease.

Dr. Ray Kim, President of the American Liver Research Association, asserts that even without adhering to a strict diet, maintaining physical activity remains the most effective strategy for managing fatty liver disease.

Similarly, Associate Professor Anastasia-Stefania Alexopoulos from Duke University School of Medicine highlights that consistent exercise habits of approximately 30–60 minutes, three times a week, for three months can significantly reduce fat accumulation in the liver.

Simple exercises such as jogging, brisk walking, yoga, and light weightlifting can yield positive results when practiced consistently.

With just three months of dedication to these exercises, the patient with fatty liver disease achieved a remarkable transformation without medication.
