K gan is a very scary disease because the survival rate is very low. Not to mention, K gan is also a common disease in Vietnam. There are many causes of this evil disease, among which the lack of eating habits cannot be ignored.
WHO has issued 3 warnings about foods that can cause K gan, which you should avoid as much as possible.

Salted foods
According to WHO, food preserved with salt such as salted fish or completely soaked food has the potential to cause cancer. For example, the Chinese-style salted fish has been clearly identified by WHO as having the ability to cause cancer.
Explaining this, experts say: In sour salted foods (kimchi, pickles, pickled eggplant) after entering the body, nitrite will be converted into nitrosamine. This substance has the ability to cause liver cancer.
Moldy food

Many Vietnamese people tend to feel wasteful, so when they see moldy food, they will not throw it away but remove or wash off the mold. Afterward, they still use that food to cook and eat. However, once the food is moldy, it will no longer have nutrition, it has been denatured.
When food is moldy, it produces aflatoxin. This substance has been classified by WHO as a group 1 carcinogen. Moreover, it is even 68 times more toxic than arsenic, extremely harmful to the liver.
Our liver only needs to absorb 1mg of aflatoxin to cause cancer. Therefore, if you ignore it, eat it for a while in small amounts, the liver will be damaged. Eventually, it will lead to liver cancer.
Alcohol

WHO has never stopped warning about the harmful effects of alcohol on the liver. It not only increases the risk of liver cancer, but also damages the esophagus, throat, and increases the risk of breast cancer.
Experts recommend that when we drink alcohol, only 5 – 10% of the alcohol is excreted through the lungs, kidneys, or sweat. The rest will be transferred to the liver for excretion. Therefore, when drinking alcohol, our liver is the most damaged organ.
After entering the liver, ethanol in alcohol will be converted into acetaldehyde. This substance can damage and necrotize liver cell membranes and cause liver inflammation. At the same time, this metabolic process will also produce hydrogen to replace fatty acids that provide energy. At this time, fatty acids will accumulate in the liver and cause fatty liver disease. Not to mention, the amount of lactic acid released also stimulates the development of fibrous cells and causes fibrosis of the liver.
So what to eat for a healthy liver?
Oatmeal
Adding oatmeal to the main diet is an easy way to add fiber, the fiber in oatmeal is particularly beneficial to the liver. Fiber is an important substance for digestion. Oats and oatmeal contain many compounds called beta-glucans. They help regulate the immune system, anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic, obesity. Beta-glucans from oats help reduce the amount of fat stored in the liver and can also help protect the liver.
When choosing oats, you should choose pure oats because packaged oatmeal may contain flour or sugar that is not beneficial to the body.
Green tea
Green tea is truly beneficial for health in general and liver health in particular. Green tea contains many antioxidants, improves liver enzyme levels, reduces oxidative stress, and fat accumulation in the liver.
Garlic

Garlic is especially good for the liver, especially for fatty liver patients. Eating garlic reduces body weight and fat content in people with fatty liver.
Grapes
Grapes, especially red and purple grapes, contain many beneficial plant compounds such as resveratrol. Grapes provide many different health benefits such as reducing inflammation, preventing increased oxidative stress, and improving liver function.
Pomelo

Pomelo contains natural antioxidants that protect the liver. The two main antioxidants found in pomelo are naringenin and naringin.
Studies have also shown that these antioxidants can reduce the development of fibrosis. Another experiment was performed on mice fed a high-fat diet, naringenin reduced fat content in the liver and increased the number of enzymes needed to burn fat, which can prevent excess fat accumulation. At the same time, naringin has been shown to improve alcohol metabolism and counteract some negative effects of alcohol.
Plant-based foods in general
Avocado and other plant-based foods contain compounds that protect liver health. The following foods provide various health benefits, and everyone should add them to their diet:
Avocado
Banana
Oatmeal
Sugar beet and beet juice
Kale
Brown rice
Carrots
Lemon
Papaya
Watermelon
Among them, sugar beet juice is a source of nitrate and the antioxidant betalain that benefits heart health and reduces oxidative and inflammatory damage. At the same time, it increases the natural detoxification enzymes.
