Determining the firmness and color of strawberries

Moc Chau strawberries, being of Japanese variety, usually have the right firmness and a bright red color. Chinese strawberries, on the other hand, have a darker red color, somewhat dyed, and do not look as fresh and delicious as Moc Chau strawberries.
