Everyday fruits that we often cut seem simple, but perhaps not everyone knows how to cut fruits properly. Let’s refer to how to easily and quickly cut 6 types of fruits: kiwi, pomegranate, mango, orange, strawberry, watermelon, my friends!
Kiwi
Do not cut from the side of the kiwi fruit. Cut off both ends first, then use a spoon to scoop out the kiwi fruit from the skin. This method helps you keep the fruit intact without worrying about it getting damaged when cutting. If you eat it right away, you can cut it in the middle, horizontally, then use a spoon to scoop out the flesh, which is very convenient.
Pomegranate
With pomegranate, many people are used to peeling and removing the seeds. This method is not easy because the pomegranate is very easy to get crushed and the pomegranate juice can splatter into your eyes at any time. It is best to cut the pomegranate in half horizontally, then gently twist half of the pomegranate to easily separate the seeds from the skin. Use a wooden spoon to gently tap the pomegranate, the seeds will drop into a bowl more easily.
Mango
Just like kiwi, you shouldn’t rush to cut from the side of the mango fruit. Cut the mango into thick slices about 2cm, then slide each slice into a glass. The flesh of the mango will be separated from the skin easily and smoothly.
Orange
You can’t use your hands to peel an orange like a tangerine. Score a line around the orange horizontally and then gently peel off the skin. This method is especially suitable for oranges with thick skin like Navel oranges!
Strawberry
Don’t use a knife to cut the stem of the strawberry, as this will waste a part of the fruit. Try using a straw, insert it through the strawberry, and the stem will automatically fall out, which will surprise you!
Watermelon
Do not cut the watermelon into slices, it will take time to peel the skin. First, cut the watermelon in half lengthwise. For each half of the watermelon, estimate and use a knife to deeply score around the watermelon, and divide the watermelon into equal squares. You can easily scoop the watermelon into a bowl. The watermelon is fully utilized without being wasted while still sticking to the skin.
