Instead of wasting time cleaning the bathroom, you can efficiently clean it in just 10-15 minutes. With a few simple tricks and materials you already have at home, you can make your bathroom shine.
1. Use tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is a great natural cleaner with antibacterial and antifungal properties. Add a small amount of tea tree oil to your bath salts to clean the sink effectively. The oil will remove mold and bacteria while restoring shine to your sink.
2. Use shaving foam to clean the mirror
To prevent your mirror from fogging up after a shower, apply a small amount of shaving foam to it. Leave the foam for 1 minute and then wipe it off with a cloth. Shaving foam also protects your mirror from fingerprint smudges.
3. Use vinegar to clean tiles
Remove stains from tiles using vinegar, a powerful natural cleaner. Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with warm water and use it to scrub the tiles. Note that this mixture should not be used on marble, as the acid can damage the stone.
4. Use newspaper to clean glass doors
If you don’t have a small fiber cloth available, use newspaper to clean glass doors. Newspaper does not leave paper scraps and effectively removes stains. For even better results, combine newspaper with white vinegar to get clean and shiny windows.
5. Use toothpaste to remove soap scum
Remove accumulated soap scum by applying a small amount of toothpaste to a sponge and scrubbing. Toothpaste can also be used to polish faucets. After scrubbing with a piece of cloth, rinse with water. Note that toothpaste should be used occasionally as its abrasive properties may wear off the paint layer on surfaces.
6. Use baby oil to polish surfaces
Make surfaces, faucets, and even your toilet bowl shine by applying a small amount of baby oil to a cloth and wiping them. This will not only make them shine, but also prevent fingerprint smudges.
7. Place a jar of baking soda near your toilet
Reduce the frequency of cleaning your toilet bowl by sprinkling a little baking soda in it before use. Additionally, you can use baking soda and vinegar to unclog the toilet. Mix 1 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of vinegar, and after 30 minutes, your toilet bowl will be unclogged.
