7 Steps to Clean Your Dryer
To maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of your dryer, follow these simple steps:
1Prepare the necessary tools
Before starting the cleaning process, gather the following tools: soft cloth, brush, high pressure water, white vinegar, and mild detergent solutions.
2Clean the lint filter
Locate and remove the lint filter which collects dust, lint, and fabric scraps. Use a soft cloth to wipe off any residue and fabric fibers from the surface. Reinstall the lint filter after cleaning to maximize the efficiency of the dryer.
3Clean the sensor
The sensor plays a crucial role in determining if the clothes are dry or not. Clean it using a diluted white vinegar solution and a cleaning cloth. Avoid using strong cleaning solutions to prevent accidents during operation.
4Clean the water container
If your dryer has a water container, remember to empty and clean it regularly. Remove any excess water to prevent overflowing. Reinstall the container after cleaning for future use.
5Clean the ventilation system
Follow the recommended cycle of about 20 drying cycles to clean the ventilation system inside the dryer. Make sure the machine is completely cooled and turned off before opening the locks. Use a high-pressure water spray to clean the system, then relock it correctly.
6Clean the drying drum
After each washing cycle, use a soft damp cloth to wipe the inside of the drying drum. This will remove any dust, residues, and fabric fibers that may have accumulated.
7Clean the exterior of the drying drum
Keep the exterior of the drying drum clean by using a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent. Regularly wipe the surface to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
These steps will help you efficiently clean your dryer, saving you time and effort for you and your family.
