After cleaning the wound with warm water, apply a layer of honey on the wound and cover it with a gauze pad, change the bandage every 24 hours.
Good for the skin. For dark spots, freckles on the skin, just apply a small amount of honey directly on them before going to bed, in the morning, wash off with warm water, you will see the results after a few days. Honey also helps naturally exfoliate dead skin cells. Wash your face with honey and warm water, you will feel your skin clean and smooth. Honey can also be used to treat eczema, psoriasis, reduce inflammation and swelling of the skin.
Boosts energy. Honey provides a healthy source of calories. It helps easily combat fatigue and addresses energy deficiency issues.
Treats cough. According to Huffington Post, honey soothes the throat and effectively kills bacteria causing infection. To quickly get rid of a cough, mix 1 tablespoon of honey with a little lemon juice and drink it regularly every day. You can also mix honey, lemon juice, and a little salt in a glass of warm water and use it as a mouthwash.
Beat insomnia. Honey is a type of carbohydrate that controls the release of insulin and allows tryptophan to easily enter the brain. Tryptophan is a compound that induces sleepiness. Just drink a warm cup of milk with honey before bed, sleep will come easily.
Prevent dry, brittle hair. Add a small spoonful of honey to your shampoo, or use honey as a shampoo, it can soften rough and stiff hair. Or you can use a shower cap, apply honey to your hair, leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off.
