1. Keep food from sticking to the bottom of the pot

Choose pots and pans of good quality that have the ability to prevent food from accumulating and sticking to the bottom.
 
Thin-bottomed pots and pans absorb heat faster, making it easier for food to burn and stick. On the contrary, pots and pans with thick bottoms or high non-stick properties help prevent food from sticking to the bottom.
 

Most cooking recipes will specify the timing for adding ingredients such as oil, flour, etc. Following these instructions will help you successfully cook the dish without worrying too much about food sticking.

Make sure the pots and pans are clean before you need to use them. Residual old layers of food can burn in the next cooking session and cause the food to stick even more. The black marks on the pots and pans are signs of food residue. Clean them thoroughly with a non-abrasive dishwashing solution.
 

If you are concerned about food sticking while cooking, use more cooking oil.

Try to keep the food at room temperature before putting it in the pot or pan.
 

Preheat the pot or pan before adding the food, then add a little cooking oil or other fat. Only add the food when the oil is hot. However, this sequence does not apply to non-stick pots and pans because heating them without adding food can damage the non-stick coating.

If the food is burned, let the pot or pan cool completely before soaking it in hot water.
