Currently, there are numerous types of exfoliating cosmetics that support the skincare process of women. However, sometimes the cosmetics available on the market that use abrasive chemicals can weaken your skin by causing excessive peeling of the epidermis layer.
Natural exfoliating methods using food below will help you always have bright, soft skin without worrying about damaging it.
1. Avocado
This is the ideal fruit to remove dead cells and treat blackheads. Crush one avocado of medium size to form a paste with a thick consistency like a face mask. Apply this mixture on your face and start massaging gently. Leave it on for about 20 minutes for the vitamin E in avocados to penetrate the skin, then rinse with cold water or simply wipe with a soft cloth.
2. Tomato
Wash a tomato thoroughly, leave the stem intact, use a knife to make a cut at the stem. Pour sugar onto a plate, dip the tomato slice in it to make the sugar stick, then rub it all over your face. Massage gently and regularly in a circular motion for about 10 minutes. Then rinse your face with clean water. The sugar crystals combined with their acid will help you remove dead cells, and the tomato with its mild acid content will help purify your skin.
3. Olive oil and sea salt
Put a tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl, then add ½ tablespoon of sea salt and mix well. Next, cleanse your face and apply this mixture to your skin, combining it with massage in circular motions. Finally, leave the mixture on your face for at least 3 minutes and then rinse your face with warm water. The sea salt crystals with the exfoliating granules will completely remove the layer of dead skin cells on your face, while the olive oil provides excellent moisturizing effects for your skin.
4. Orange and turmeric powder
Mix 3 tablespoons of turmeric powder with 3 tablespoons of squeezed orange juice to create a smooth paste. Gently apply the mask and massage it for about 2 to 3 minutes. Continue to leave it on for about 20 minutes, then rinse your face with warm water.
5. Coffee
Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of coffee powder, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (or orange juice) to create a mask mixture. Then apply it evenly to your skin, gently massage in circular motions. Sugar is a natural glycolic acid, an extremely effective chemical for removing dead cells from the skin’s surface. Coffee stimulates skin cells and helps peel off dead skin cells. Finally, lemon juice enhances the peeling process along with salt, which has properties that help tighten and disinfect the skin.
Because this exfoliating formula has a fairly strong abrasive action, you should use it only once a week!
