1 When is the Founding Day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union?
From March 22-25, 1961, the Third National Congress took place, and it was then that President Ho Chi Minh and the Politburo decided to designate March 26, 1931, as the Founding Day of the Youth Union.

During the Second Meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Party from March 20-26, 1931, the Central Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party devoted time to discussing urgent matters regarding the strengthening of the youth force.
Based on this special event, at the Third National Congress of the Vietnamese Labor Youth Union from March 22-25, 1961, with the agreement of the Politburo and President Ho Chi Minh, it was decided to choose March 26, 1931, as the Founding Day of the Youth Union.

Since its inception, Vietnamese youth have proven to be a vanguard force in the revolutionary movements.
