Step 1 Use the utility knife to cut off the top of the plastic bottle as shown in the image below.

Step 2 Next, use the tip of the knife to punch two equal holes in the bottle cap.

Step 3 Take the piece of string and thread it through the center of the scouring pad as shown in the image.
