Ingredients: 5-6 weather loaches, rinsed to remove any fishy odor.

Instructions:

Step 1: Gut the fish, discarding the intestines, and set the meat aside, keeping the bones intact.

Step 2: In a pan, heat some oil over low heat and fry the bones until softened. Then, add the fish meat and continue frying.

Step 3: Pour in 300ml of rice wine or 600ml of water, along with a slice of ginger. Simmer on low heat until the liquid reduces by half and turns a milky color.

Finally, season the dish with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy the meat and drink the broth. This recipe is recommended for those suffering from sexual dysfunction, physical and mental fatigue, liver ailments, or loss of appetite.

Weather Loach Porridge – A Nutritious Delight

Recipe 2: For Fatigue and Congestion Relief

Ingredients: 250g weather loach, 50g hulled hemp seeds.

Instructions:

Step 1: Clean the fish, removing all internal organs. Rinse the hemp seeds and wrap them in cloth. Place both ingredients in a pot with 500ml of water and a pinch of salt.

Step 2: Bring the water to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer until half of the liquid has evaporated. Remove the hemp seeds and enjoy the fish and broth. Consume this dish once daily for ten days for best results.

Recipe 3: For Jaundice and Virility Enhancement

Ingredients: 300-500g weather loach, 100g peanuts, 300g rice, peanut oil or alternative cooking oil, salt, soy sauce, sugar, scallions, and herbs to taste.

Instructions:

Step 1: Rinse the rice and add a pinch of salt, stirring well. Bring water to a boil and cook the rice to make porridge.

Step 2: Gut the fish, removing the spine, and rinse. Marinate the fish with peanut oil, salt, soy sauce, and sugar.

Step 3: When the porridge is almost ready, add the marinated fish and cook until done. Garnish with scallions and herbs before serving. This dish is recommended for individuals suffering from jaundice, liver ailments, or sexual weakness.
