Hairspray
Hairspray is an effective solution for removing lipstick stains. Here are two ways to use hairspray to remove lipstick stains:
- Apply a tissue to the inside of the lipstick stain, then spray hairspray on it. After 10 minutes, place another piece of paper on top to absorb the stain and wash the garment.
- If you don’t have a tissue, directly spray hairspray on the lipstick stain, wait 10 minutes, and then wipe it off with your hands.
Below are video tutorials demonstrating these methods:
Wet wipes for babies
If you don’t have hairspray available, you can use a wet baby wipe to remove lipstick stains. Simply take a wet cloth and gently wipe over the lipstick mark to make the stain disappear. Here is an image demonstrating this method:
Dishwashing liquid
Since most lipsticks contain oil, dishwashing liquid can be used to remove lipstick stains. Pour dishwashing liquid on a damp cloth, rub gently on the stain, and then rinse with water. Repeat this process a few times until the clothes become clean. Here is an image illustrating this method:
Alcohol
Alcohol can effectively remove lipstick stains as it contains alcohol, which is one of the ingredients used in lipstick removers. If you have alcohol nearby, apply it to the stain and remove the dirty lipstick from your clothes. Here is an image showing this method:
