The air fryer has become familiar to every household due to its convenience as well as ensuring the health of the whole family. Using an air fryer regularly leads to a drawback which is the fryer easily absorbs food odor over time. This odor contamination affects the taste of subsequent dishes as well.
So what’s the solution to this?
Mrs. Doan Le Nga has discovered a brilliant trick to effectively remove the odor from an air fryer after years of using it. Let’s find out what her amazing tip is!
Miss Le Nga shares: “I often hear complaints about the smell of new air fryers. They often smell like plastic or the lingering odor of oil from previous use. This can be unpleasant and discourages people from using their air fryers for new dishes. I have found a solution using used tea bags. Instead of throwing them away, I will share a simple but effective method to remove the odor from your air fryer.”>
Ingredients:
Used tea bags (I used strawberry and peach flavored tea bags from Vinatea).
How to do:
– Tea bags for draining water (use 2 or more tea bags for the tea to have an effect in a large pot).
– Set the mode to 160 degrees – 20 minutes.
– Then leave the tea in the air fryer pot until it cools down.
I work in the evening, and after washing the pot, I start to remove the smell of fried food. I leave it overnight. The next morning, I dispose of the tea residue.
So the air fryer will smell fragrant with tea and no longer have a lingering food odor.
And do not throw away tea waste if you have indoor plants. Take the small tea bags out and fertilize the plant roots. The plants will thrive better that way.
– Note: The reason why there is so much tea residue is because we had guests at my house, and we brewed a large 5-liter pitcher of peach tea using 25 tea bags.
You can store tea waste in the refrigerator compartment, ideally in 2-4 bags, and then use it to get rid of odors from an air fryer. So, it seems like a dual-purpose solution: deodorizing both the refrigerator and the air fryer at the same time, doesn’t it?
Lê Nga has been using an air fryer for over 2 years, and she shares a great passion for it. She can think and create a variety of dishes just by using the air fryer for cooking. Let’s take a look at some unique recipes that Lê Nga has made!

Mrs. Le Nga shares important notes when using an air fryer: “Currently, there are many different brands of air fryers on the market. The fryer will be a part of your family’s daily meals, processing food at high temperatures, so I advise you to research the brands thoroughly. Find an air fryer that meets the standards to ensure the health of your family.”
Each air fryer brand will have different power and technology. So when using a new air fryer, you should not set the temperature too high or the time too long. Set the temperature from 80-180 degrees and let it run for 10-15 minutes to get familiar with the fryer. After using it 2-3 times, you will become proficient with your own fryer.

Instructions:

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure to fully incorporate each egg before adding the next.
5. Stir in the vanilla extract.

13. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
14. Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
15. Dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!

Detox Water Recipe:
Detox water is a refreshing and healthy drink that can help cleanse your body and boost your metabolism. Here’s a simple recipe to make your own detox water at home:
1. Choose your ingredients: You can use a combination of fruits, vegetables, and herbs to create your detox water. Some popular choices include lemon, cucumber, mint, ginger, and strawberries.
2. Prepare your ingredients: Wash and slice the fruits and vegetables into thin slices. If using herbs, crush them slightly to release their flavors.
3. Add the ingredients to a pitcher: Take a large pitcher and add the sliced fruits, vegetables, and herbs. You can also add ice cubes for a chilled drink.
4. Fill the pitcher with water: Pour filtered water into the pitcher, filling it to the top. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
5. Let it infuse: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the detox water infuse for at least 2-4 hours, or overnight for best results. The longer it infuses, the stronger the flavors will be.
6. Serve and enjoy: Once the detox water is ready, pour it into glasses and serve chilled. You can garnish each glass with a slice of fruit or a sprig of herbs for added freshness.
Detox water is a great way to stay hydrated and detoxify your body naturally. It not only helps flush out toxins but also provides essential vitamins and minerals. So try this refreshing drink and boost your overall health and wellness. Cheers to a healthier you!
– Soak dried fruits in hot water for 15 minutes. Alternatively, use a thermos or a flask to infuse. Then, prepare with additional cold water according to your preference.
Dried fruit detox is a highly beneficial beverage for women.
Dried detox is essentially a method of using dried fruits and vegetables instead of fresh ones to make tea and drink it in place of water on a daily basis.
