Some furniture in the house that has been used for a long time often loses its shine like new. You can use eggshells to enhance their brightness.
The simple way to do this is to take clean eggshells and wash them in water. You will get a mixed solution of protein and water. Take this mixed solution and wipe the glass or furniture in the house. They will become shinier.
2. Remove stains on tea and coffee cups
Cups that you use to drink tea or coffee every day often get yellowed after a while. Washing with regular water does not make them shine as before. Instead of buying new cups, you can use eggshells to clean these cups.
Put 12 eggshells in boiling water, then dry and grind them. Mix the eggshell powder with warm water and pour this mixture into the stained cups. After a night, pour out the water in the cup and you will see the stains fading or disappearing completely.

3. Clean cooking oil when frying
After frying various types of food, the cooking oil turns black. If you want to clean the oil, you can use an eggshell. Place the eggshell in the oil pan. The eggshell will absorb carbon particles to clean the oil.
4. Clean glass, ceramic pots, and kettles
Glass or glassware used for a long time often accumulates dirt at the bottom. The mouth of the small glass cannot be washed by hand. To clean the bottom of the glass, you can use an eggshell.
You break the eggshells and put them in the glass with a little water. Shake the glass with your hand, and the dirt at the bottom of the glass will fall out. This cleaning method is more effective than soap.
5. Whiten clothes
White clothes often fade after a period of wear. You can cut eggshells into small pieces and put them in a thin fabric bag, then place it in hot water for about 5 minutes. Soak the white clothes in this water, and they will become bright white again.
6. Propagate plants

Clean the eggshells and make a small hole at the bottom to drain water, to avoid water stagnation that causes root rot. Then, add a little soil and plant seeds. When the seedlings are large enough to be planted outside, gently remove the eggshells.
7. Make skin smooth
Eggshell powder helps exfoliate dead skin cells and supports the regeneration of new cells, making the skin brighter, smoother, and more even. There is no excellent skin care mask than this thrown away ingredient. Grind one or two eggshells into a powder, mix it with an egg white, and you will have an ideal skin care mixture.
8. Trap harmful insects for plants

Break the eggshells into pieces and spread them around the base of the plant or poke a hole in the base of the plant and sprinkle eggshell powder. At this point, the eggshell powder not only acts as a fertilizer but also can repel pests, including snails and harmful insects for plants. Soft creatures do not like to crawl on the sharp pieces of eggshells or smell the “unpleasant” smell.
