Many people believe that a quick wash does not clean clothes effectively, but the truth is that using the right washing mode can help you save both time and energy consumption.

The quick wash mode is a time-saving mode that increases the speed of washing. Depending on the amount of clothes and water level, this mode typically lasts from 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Savings with quick wash mode

The quick wash mode has the following advantages:

Saves time by half or even a quarter compared to the standard washing cycle, suitable for busy individuals with limited waiting time.

Saves energy and water due to shorter washing time compared to standard programs.

Suitable for washing new clothes, lightly soiled items in small quantities, ensuring that garments are thoroughly cleaned and optimizing fabric protection.

Increases the lifespan of the washing machine as it operates in a short period of time, reducing wear and tear on the motor.

Better garment protection: Clothes can easily become worn out and damaged due to high spinning intensity. The quick wash mode reduces the time that clothes are in contact with the washing drum and detergent, optimizing fabric protection and preventing color fading.

The disadvantages of this washing mode are:

Unable to effectively deal with tough stains and odorous items: For heavily soiled clothes or clothes with unpleasant smells, the quick wash mode may not completely clean them. This mode does not use steam or hot water, so it is less effective in killing bacteria.

Ineffective spinning of clothes due to a shorter spinning cycle. If you want the clothes to be thoroughly spun dry, you should activate a separate spinning mode.

Unable to wash large loads of clothes because the quick wash mode operates with a smaller capacity, using less water and detergent than the standard program.

Residual soap: The quick wash mode may not utilize the full amount of detergent and washing water, resulting in soap residue remaining inside the machine and on the clothes. This can reduce the durability of the machine and have an impact on the skin, especially for sensitive skin.

How to wash quickly and efficiently while saving

To clean clothes without damaging them, while ensuring the advantages of the quick wash mode such as saving electricity, water, and time, you should take note of the following:

Do not wash too many clothes

With a standard washing program, you can fill the washing drum with clothes or use the machine’s load capacity and be confident that it will work well. However, with the quick wash mode, you should only wash around 2kg of clothes, or at most half of the machine’s load capacity.

Washing a small amount of clothes with the quick wash mode ensures that the clothes are properly cleaned by both the detergent/washing water and tap water, keeping the clothes fresh and clean.

Note that before putting the clothes in the washing machine, you should pre-treat stubborn stains that the machine may not be able to remove effectively, or choose a more suitable washing program to clean those stains.

Use low-foam products

Whether you use powder detergent, liquid detergent, laundry pods, or any other new washing forms, note that the quick wash mode works best with products that produce less foam to ensure the clothes are rinsed as thoroughly as possible.

Accurately control the amount of detergent

A regular washing cycle has 2-3 rinsing cycles, so even if you add too much detergent, the machine can still rinse it off. However, the quick wash mode only performs one rinsing cycle, so the amount of detergent needs to be accurately controlled. Otherwise, the clothes may still feel soapy even after washing.
