Just recently, Ngoc Trinh made an appearance at a press event for her upcoming film. At the event, she admitted that: “After four months, I’m slowly getting used to a normal life again. But earlier, when I was about to come downstairs, my heart was racing. As soon as I stepped down and heard: “You look so beautiful, Trinh,” I regained my composure. You could see how nervous I was, right? Receiving this film invitation felt like a precious gift and encouragement from everyone. Their warm welcome and willingness to work with me despite my recent scandal was the biggest motivation for me to get back on my feet.”

She also shared that she’s undergone a transformation: “Before, I didn’t care if people loved or hated me. Now, I want to be loved. I truly need more love.”
Ngoc Trinh has had a challenging few months, facing legal troubles and spending over three months in temporary detention for her involvement in a public disorder case. On October 19, 2023, she was arrested and detained by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency. Following a trial on February 2, the court sentenced her to one year in prison, suspended for two years, for “causing public disorder.” She was released from custody at the end of the trial.
She underwent a painful scar treatment process, enduring everything from wincing and gritting her teeth to covering her mouth to muffle her screams. “Up until now, I’ve undergone six treatments in over two months. I have three scars in total. I missed the golden window for scar treatment, and due to a lack of proper care, they worsened. This time, I decided to focus on the scars on my knees and elbows, leaving the thigh scar for later. These two scars have cost me about 40 million VND, including medication,” Ngoc Trinh shared.

Additionally, she completed a three-month fat reduction and muscle toning program to regain her figure. During her detention, she couldn’t maintain her usual exercise routine or diet, which resulted in noticeable physical changes.
Previously, she had also spoken about her scars: “In the past, a small scar would bother me, and I’d fret over it endlessly. Now, after going through more significant life events, I realize that these scars are just a minor detail, like fleeting marks in my life. I consider them memorable moments. Every situation can be viewed from different perspectives, and it’s up to us to choose how we perceive them. ‘If you let go a little, you’ll have a little happiness.
