The Ministry of Public Security has rolled out the game-changing VNeID app, making it easier for citizens to access a range of services with just one digital passport instead of relying on traditional paper documents.
If you need to use a passport for administrative procedures or airport check-in, you can use VNeID to present it. However, not everyone knows how to access the passport this way, so FPT Shop will guide you on how to do it with very simple steps.
How to view a passport on VNeID
Note: The View Passport feature is currently still in testing, so it depends on each updated or not. If you do not have it, you can try again later.
Step 1: You open the VNeID application on your phone and log in to your digital identity account. Then on the home page, you select the Document Wallet section below the toolbar.
Step 2: Select Passport. Because of the secure feature, when viewing Passport or other documents, you need to enter the 6-digit security password set earlier. After successful entry, your passport will appear in the Verified section.
In case your passport does not meet the requirements for approval, it will be in the section Not Verified.
With these 2 easy steps, you can view and present your passport on VNeID without having to carry the paper version. Experience the great features of the application and share them with your loved ones.
