Xà Phìn is a highland village in Phương Tiến Commune, Vị Xuyên District, about 20km from Hà Giang City. It sits at the foot of the Tây Côn Lĩnh mountain range at an altitude of over 1,000m. In late September to early October, when the rice terraces turn a golden hue, the landscape becomes breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by lush mountains.

The rice terraces of Xà Phìn stretch out like soft silk scarves, winding gracefully around the thatched-roof stilt houses.

To witness the stunning rice harvest here, visitors can start their journey from Khuổi My village’s suspension bridge (Phương Độ Commune, Hà Giang City) and travel 10km along the eastern slope of the Tây Côn Lĩnh range, passing through ancient tea and palm forests and winding roads.
