1. Instructions on how to view TikTok history on your phone

Here are simple ways to view your TikTok history that you can search on your phone. Depending on each case, you can perform whichever method you feel is most suitable.

How to view videos you’ve already watched on TikTok

Method 1: Quick search

Open the TikTok app on your phone -> Tap the Magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the search bar -> Enter a period “.” in the search bar and tap Search -> The View your watch history item will appear, tap to select it and scroll to find the video you need.

Method 2: Search within your personal account

If you want to find your watch history, comment history, and search history, follow these steps:

Open the TikTok app on your phone -> Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom right corner of the screen -> Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top right corner -> Select Settings and privacy -> Scroll down and select Activity center -> Select the history you want to find. 

Use the search function with filters

Viewing your TikTok history with the search function and filters is also an interesting tip that not everyone knows about. To do this, follow these steps.

Open the TikTok app on your phone -> Tap on the Magnifying glass icon to open the search bar -> In the search bar, enter keywords or topics related to the video content you’ve watched -> Tap Search.

TikTok will now display videos that are related to the keywords you searched for. Tap on Watched so that TikTok can filter and only display videos that you’ve watched. You can also tap on the three dots icon on the right side of the search bar -> Select Filters to apply more search filters.

Note: This method will be very convenient and will increase the chances of finding a video you’ve watched if you can remember the keywords related to the video content. However, this is just a trick, so sometimes it won’t give the desired results on some devices.

How to view your saved TikTok video history

For TikTok videos that you’ve saved to your Favorites, you can view them again as follows:

Open the TikTok app on your phone -> Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom right corner of the screen -> Tap on the Favorites icon (as shown in the photo) -> Scroll and find the video you saved.
