Doing homework and reading books with my child
Guiding my child in doing homework at home will help reduce their fear of assignments and achieve better results. Reading books with my child is also a way to invest in their future. This method is crucial in expanding their knowledge and improving their language skills.
However, working with my child does not mean doing their assignments for them. I should only play a supervisory role and be ready to help when they encounter real difficulties. The most important thing is to teach them problem-solving skills rather than solving the problems for them.
I also need to control my emotions when communicating with my children, especially when it comes to their education. I should have calm conversations with them and ask them about their problems. This helps avoid conflicts between parents and children and brings peace to the family.
Playing sports with my child
Sports help challenge the willpower and promote the physical development of children. It is also a good opportunity for them to experience failure.
Fathers are like the first physical education teachers of their children. Biologically, the frontal and rear brains of men are closely linked, and their motor nerves develop better. Therefore, fathers usually have more strength, athletic talents, and adventurous spirits compared to mothers.
If my child forms the habit of exercising and I accompany them, it will give them a sense of control when participating in adult life. It can also promote emotional communication between father and child.
Doing chores with my child
In most families, mothers usually play the role of housework. In reality, if fathers do chores with their children, it can enhance their practical skills and independence.
In addition, this helps reduce the burden of household chores on mothers and makes them feel cared for. The relationship between parents will also be improved, making the marriage happier. The image of a father doing housework will become a good role model and instill a sense of family responsibility in children. This is especially meaningful for boys.
As they grow up, children will become warm-hearted, responsible, loving, and respectful men.
Experiencing life with my children
Smart parents understand the importance of taking their children to different places to explore the world. If the economy allows, they can take their children to the beach, mountains, or admire nature to see how each place is different.
This helps children appreciate the beauty of life, broaden their horizons, and develop a rich soul that can pursue bigger goals. As a result, children’s personalities become stronger and more courageous because their fathers dare to let them test their capabilities.
