Tofu with Minced Meat Sauce

Ingredients

– Tofu: 1 box

– Onion: 100g

– Chili: to taste

– Minced garlic: 1 spoonful

– White sugar: 1 spoonful

– Chili powder: 1 spoonful

– Soy sauce: half a spoonful

– Water: as needed

– Minced meat: 100g

– Chopped spring onion

– White sesame: 1 spoonful

– Hoisin sauce: 1 spoonful

– Soy sauce: 2 spoonfuls

– Sesame oil: a little (optional)

Instructions

– Saute minced garlic until fragrant in hot oil, then add minced meat and stir-fry until cooked.

– Mix chili powder, white sesame, and sesame oil in a bowl, then add 2 spoons of hot oil to make it fragrant. Then add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, enough water, minced meat, mix well and set aside.

– Place aluminum foil on a baking sheet, spread chopped onions on top and place the tofu pieces on it. Pour the minced meat sauce on top of the tofu.

– Put it in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, then remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped spring onions and red chili on top and enjoy. If you don’t have an oven, you can use a grill or pan (also lined with aluminum foil) to grill.

– Minced meat: 150g

– Soy sauce: 1 spoonful

– Hoisin sauce: 1 spoonful

– Salt: 1 spoonful

– Chopped spring onion: 1 sprig

– Minced ginger: a little

– Minced garlic: a little

– Cornstarch: half a spoonful

Instructions

– Cut the tofu into small pieces, blanch in boiling water and set aside.

– Heat a little oil in a pot, add minced meat and stir-fry until the meat turns white.

– Add chopped spring onion, ginger, garlic, light soy sauce, and hoisin sauce to the pot and stir-fry until the meat absorbs the color of the soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Then add a small bowl of boiling water, add the tofu and cook for a few minutes.

– Turn up the heat, add 1 spoonful of sesame oil and half a spoonful of salt, stir well. Finally, add cornstarch, simmer the sauce, sprinkle some chopped spring onion on top, and it’s done. Turn off the heat.

Now you can serve the tofu with minced meat sauce in a deep plate or bowl, hot with rice. This dish is simple and cheap, but it’s guaranteed that everyone will love it.
