3. Notes when making broccoli with oyster sauce
– When choosing broccoli, you should choose fresh plants that have a light green color at the top and gradually become white from the stem to the root.
– Avoid buying broccoli with dark green stems as they are usually old. When eaten, they are no longer crispy and the nutritional value is not guaranteed. In addition, you should avoid broccoli with crushed or discolored stems.
– One simple way to choose broccoli is to press lightly on the stem. If it feels firm, it means that the broccoli plant is full, firm, and has many flower buds. On the contrary, if it feels soft, it means that the broccoli plant has an underdeveloped core and is not abundant.
– Although broccoli is delicious and good for health, people who have conditions such as constipation, gastrointestinal inflammation, gastric pain, or kidney problems should avoid eating it.
