Surveys indicate that individuals who eliminate carbohydrate-rich foods like rice and noodles from their diet for 30 days can lose approximately 10kg.

However, despite the potential for rapid weight loss, this practice does not constitute a healthy eating habit and may lead to various health issues.

Firstly, hypotension is a common consequence. As the energy supply for heart muscle cells relies predominantly on glucose, prolonged carbohydrate deficiency can disrupt cardiac contraction, heighten the risk of hypotension and arrhythmia, and potentially lead to shock.

Lastly, long-term carbohydrate deficiency can also impair neurological function. The diverse nutrients present in carbohydrates are essential for maintaining the normal function of the nervous system. Their absence can lead to neurological dysfunction, manifesting as dizziness, memory loss, unsteadiness, fainting, and other symptoms.
