1. Vietnam is the only country that exports breast milk
According to the Plant Protection Department (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), Vietnam is currently the only country in the world that exports breast milk as a commodity. Other countries such as Cambodia, the Philippines, India, Thailand, and the Northern Territory (Australia) have breast milk trees, but they do not export them, only consume them domestically.
Since the first batch was exported to the demanding US market in 2018, up to now, Soc Trang is the locality with the largest export volume of breast milk in the Mekong Delta region.
To promote the Vietnamese fruit brand breast milk, the Southern Fruit Research Institute (SOFRI) and the Vietnam Record Center (VietKings) have officially proposed to the Asian Record Organization and the World Record Organization to establish the record “Vietnam is the only country in the world that exports breast milk”.
Not only the US, China is also a preferred market for Vietnamese breast milk. A Chinese user shared on page 163: “In Vietnam, there is a famous type of fruit that has been popular in China in recent years. This type of fruit is called breast milk.
At first glance, the breast milk looks quite similar to the lime, the peel is quite hard but when touched, it is very soft. When cut open, I couldn’t believe my eyes because there are large star-shaped seeds inside, it looks very interesting…
The most important thing is that when you cut it with a knife, you will see a liquid resembling milk flowing out. Breast milk has a very delicious taste, chewy and juicy, similar to eating jelly.
