Lệ Quyên confided, “It was a dream come true. For so many years, I tried to persuade her, but she loved Hanoi and didn’t want to leave. I didn’t force her and instead patiently convinced her. And it was during this year’s Vu Lan season that she finally agreed.”

Speaking about her parents, Lệ Quyên shared that her mother is from Hanoi, while her father is from Haiphong. Although she was born in Hanoi, her family moved to Thai Nguyen when she was young due to certain circumstances. She lived there until she finished high school and then returned to Hanoi.
After achieving success, Lệ Quyên rarely mentioned her family. In 2020, she explained that she wanted to protect her mother’s privacy and therefore refrained from talking about her.
