A woman who had undergone treatment for cancer was later found to still have cervical cancer cells present during a biopsy. To prevent the spread of cancer, her gynecologist arranged for her to undergo a hysterectomy.

Dr. Liu Bo Ren examined the woman and found high levels of bisphenol A and other plasticizers in her body, which could be the reason why cancer cells were not eliminated. He guessed that the patient might have been exposed to thermal paper at work, used coated paper cups daily, and often bought takeout food packed in plastic bags, leading to the high levels of plasticizers.

To address this issue, Dr. Liu advised the woman to closely cooperate with her gynecologist in cancer treatment. Simultaneously, he recommended a detox diet that included consuming more vegetables, especially cruciferous vegetables. As the woman did not like drinking water, he also reminded her to drink at least 2500ml of water daily. Additionally, Dr. Liu emphasized the importance of daily exercise and suggested practices like foot soaking or bathing to induce sweating.

Dr. Liu advised the woman to consume more cruciferous vegetables, drink more water, and exercise.

Six months later, at a follow-up appointment, the doctor found that the plasticizers in the woman’s body had been completely eliminated. Nine months later, she underwent a fourth endometrial biopsy, which revealed that all cancer cells were gone. The patient even went on to successfully conceive and give birth.

Cruciferous vegetables aid in detoxification

Dr. Liu pointed out that cruciferous vegetables include broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, collard greens, mustard greens, and turnips. These vegetables are rich in fiber and contain beneficial plant compounds.

Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage are high in fiber and contain various plant compounds. They are rich in antioxidants, which help boost the levels of detoxifying enzymes, thereby supporting liver function. Animal studies have also shown that these vegetables aid in preventing the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Consuming cruciferous vegetables also helps your body produce glutathione, a protein made by the liver that aids in processing and eliminating toxins.

Additionally, sulforaphane, a naturally occurring sulfur compound found in cruciferous vegetables, particularly broccoli, stimulates detoxifying enzymes in the body, helping prevent the formation and growth of cancer cells. DIM, a metabolite of indole-3-carbinol (I3C), is also present in cruciferous vegetables and has been shown to support the detoxification of hormones in women, especially estrogen, while also exhibiting anti-cancer properties.
