Step 1 Fold the paper stars

Cut the colored A4 paper into long strips, about 1cm wide. To fold the five-pointed stars, fold the paper diagonally to form an alpha shape. Hold the shorter end and fold it tightly, while gently pulling the longer end to create a knot shape.

Turn the paper over and tuck the excess end inward, creating a pentagon shape with 5 equal sides. Then, flip it over and fold the tail of the paper towards the opposite side. Repeat this process until you have used up most of the paper. Take out the extra piece of paper and insert it between the folded layers. Use your fingertips to gently squeeze the edges to make the star pop out.

Cut the cardboard into a cone shape. Use glue to attach the stars around the cone. At this step, you can decorate the tree by using different colored stars.
