In the Vietnamese entertainment industry, Dai Nghia is a well-trusted star, with many people willingly donating money to his charity fund for him to distribute as relief aid. He directly hands out cash and essential goods to those in need.

How reputable is Dai Nghia, that both Nhat Kim Anh and Tran Thanh directly sent him donations?
When Nhat Kim Anh publicly announced that she had transferred 800 million VND to Dai Nghia’s account for charity, she explained that she chose him due to their close relationship and her trust in his capabilities, based on his previous charity trips. According to the plan, Dai Nghia will go to Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces and other areas affected by natural disasters to directly support and hand over the money to the people. He always works under the guidance of the local government and has confirmation receipts for the money distribution.
After transferring the money to Dai Nghia for flood relief, Nhat Kim Anh left a comment on the male MC’s post: “I am forever grateful to you!” and “Take care of yourself” as Dai Nghia updated the relief situation.
Nhat Kim Anh has always believed in MC Dai Nghia’s charity work. In November 2020, the two, along with many other colleagues, flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue to support the people in Central Vietnam. At that time, Nhat Kim Anh also deposited 880 million VND into Dai Nghia’s An Vui account for charity.
Nhat Kim Anh once joined Dai Nghia in supporting the flooded Central region in November 2020.
Previously, MC Dai Nghia was also one of the two people that MC Tran Thanh sent donations to support the people in Central Vietnam in 2020. After raising 9.45 billion VND, Tran Thanh transferred 3 billion VND to MC Dai Nghia and 6.45 billion VND to Ha Ho’s mother to directly support the people on his behalf.
Tran Thanh trusted Dai Nghia’s fund enough to transfer the donations there in 2020.
After Tran Thanh released 1,000 pages of his bank statements in 2021, Dai Nghia also clarified the donations he received. At that time, Dai Nghia shared: “In my journey to Central Vietnam, I always have fellow artists with me to help out. I also want everyone to witness the transparency and clarity of the process.”
“At each stop, I arranged for the artists to be divided into 3-4 groups to hand out money to the people. I give cash instead of gifts because I think that giving money allows people to decide what they want to do with it, which is more convenient. Throughout the journey, I constantly update photos, clips, and the amount of money given at each stop. In addition, Nam Thu and Nhat Kim Anh also livestreamed while handing out the money. We have a process in place where one person hands out the money, another calls out the names, another checks the receipts, and another organizes the line of recipients.”
“During that trip, since I was running around outside, I asked fellow artists to livestream. I made two trips, and both had the same procedure. After returning, I immediately made a summary post. A few days later, I also posted my bank statement for everyone’s convenience.”

Directly went to Lang Nu to hand out gifts to the people
Having done charity and volunteer work for many years, Dai Nghia affirmed that all the donations in his An Vui fund are fully publicized, including withdrawals and deposits. During charity trips, Dai Nghia always tells everyone to take care of their personal expenses.
Dai Nghia’s volunteer group arrived at Lang Nu on September 16th.
Dai Nghia and his volunteer group directly handed out 700,000 VND to the representatives of the households present. The remaining amount was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to be given to the people.
On September 16th, Dai Nghia and his volunteer group went to Lang Nu to support the people there. The group landed at Noi Bai airport in the early morning and then headed to Lao Cai and Lang Nu. This area was heavily affected by the recent floods and landslides.
He recounted this meaningful yet challenging journey: “A day in Lang Nu village, Lao Cai. The road was rough and difficult to navigate. If the driver wasn’t familiar with the road, we wouldn’t have made it. When we were about 10 kilometers away, the local authorities informed us that the road ahead was blocked due to a landslide, so we had to turn back and take a longer route, arriving at our destination at 4 pm. Due to the rescue work and the dangerous terrain, we needed permission from the local government to enter the area.”
“Everything here is still in ruins after the recent flood. Rescue teams are still working to find those who were swept away. Their families stood on the shore, their faces full of despair.”
“Nghia and his friends went to work with the local authorities to hand out 500 gifts to the people. However, due to the difficult terrain, some villages could not be reached, and the people could not come to receive the gifts. So, despite our best efforts, we had to give the gifts to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and they will deliver them to the people in a few days.”

In addition to Lang Nu, Dai Nghia and his volunteer group also visited other localities in Lao Cai. They sent many essential goods shipments to several areas, including Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, and Bac Giang.

The male MC who practices vegetarianism and is single at the age of almost 50
Talking about Dai Nghia, many viewers notice his strong presence on television, hosting many popular programs. The MC, born in 1978, is a familiar and beloved face due to his humorous, natural, and professional hosting style in programs such as Gương Mặt Thân Quen, Giọng Ải Giọng Ai, Chuẩn Cơm Mẹ Nấu, etc.
When he first started as an MC, Dai Nghia faced many difficulties, earning only 20,000 VND per show, and could only afford to buy one bunch of vegetables to cook three dishes per meal. Now, he has become one of the most sought-after MCs in the South. Even Truong Giang and Tran Thanh have jokingly called Dai Nghia “the richest national MC in Vietnam”.
When asked about the nickname “the rich MC,” Dai Nghia denied it. He shared that it was just a joke by Tran Thanh and Truong Giang. “Truong Giang once joked at the press conference of the fourth season of ‘Giọng ải giọng ai’ that I practice vegetarianism and don’t have to support anyone, nor do I buy luxury goods, so I must be rich, probably the richest MC in Vietnam.”
“That was just Truong Giang joking. To be rich, you have to do business. Purely doing art like me, having a comfortable life is already fortunate enough. I can’t say that I’m a rich man,” Dai Nghia once said.
