1. Lettuce

Growing lettuce like this is extremely simple, you just need to take a 5cm long lettuce root (soak it in 1-2 cm of water at the base), then soak it in water for about 1 week. Then transfer it to plant in soil in a foam box.

Soak the lettuce root about 1-2cm.

2. Mint, basil

This type of herb does not need as much as lettuce but it helps to create flavors for the dish, eaten with cucumber and raw vegetables. Therefore, you should also grow a little bit for your family meals.

Cut a 7cm long piece, remove the leaves, then soak in water until the roots are about 5cm long

Then take it out and plant it in the soil in a box.

3. Spring onion

Like the above herbs, take the spring onion, cut the bottom part about 5cm, then soak it in a cup of water for 5-7 days. Spring onion is an easy-to-grow herb, it grows fast, you can use the leaves to season your dishes.

Remember to provide enough water for the spring onion to grow.

4. Kale

Kale is similar to lettuce, cut a piece about 5cm long from the base, then soak it in water, wait for the roots to grow and then plant it in the soil. This kale is used to boil and eat with braised meat, very delicious.

Just 10-15 days and you will have kale to eat.

5. Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes soaked in water to sprout roots. Then, several plantlets grow on the sweet potato. Remove these plantlets from the sweet potato and then continue to soak them in water until the roots grow and then plant them in the soil. Water enough for the plantlets to grow, however, it takes some time to have the sweet potatoes.

Place the sweet potato in a glass of water and wait for it to sprout roots.

6. Spices: Garlic, shallots

You just need to take 1 garlic clove, shallots and bury them in the soil, and water them.

Bury this onion part under the soil and water regularly.

7. Lemongrass

Lemongrass can also be grown by placing the stems in water. When the roots come out in 2-3 weeks, you can plant the lemongrass stems in a sunny place.

8. Onions

To grow raw onions well in water cups, you need to prepare a fresh onion, a cup of water with a mouth diameter smaller than or equal to the onion diameter, and water.

Fill the cup with water, remove the yellow outer peel of the onion bulb, then immerse the root end of the onion with the roots submerged in water.

9. Garlic

Garlic sprouts from garlic cloves, each clove will grow into a plant. When the garlic starts to sprout, put them in a large glass of water. When the garlic sprouts are relatively strong, you can plant them in the garden or in foam boxes.
