Starting from December 1st, Google will delete unused accounts that have been inactive for at least two years. Other data including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, documents in Workspace, and backup photos on Google Photos will also be deleted.

“If a Google account is not used or logged into for a period of at least 2 years, that personal account and the contents within it will be deleted,” Google announced.
Inactive accounts will be deleted in stages, starting with addresses that have been created but never used.
The new policy also states that in addition to not being able to access the email address, other data including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, documents in the Workspace suite, and backup photos on Google Photos will also be deleted.
Currently, Google does not have plans to delete YouTube channels linked to accounts. The reason is that some channels or videos may have historical significance, used for reference or long-term storage.
To prevent Gmail accounts from being deleted, the simplest way is for you to immediately log in to your account from today. This way, Google will remove your email from the list of long-unused accounts and will not delete it in this round.
Each Gmail account is provided by Google with 15GB of free online storage. In case you do not use the Gmail service, you can still utilize this 15GB of storage capacity to store important data, in case of a computer hard drive failure that causes loss of stored data.
