Step 1 Create Flower Shapes

Use the flower petal cutting tools to cut out three flower designs, with three flowers of each design. If you don’t have these tools, you can draw the flower shapes on the paper and cut them out manually.

Use a round sponge to dab red ink in the center of each flower. Do the same for the remaining flowers. Arrange and glue the flowers of different shapes and sizes together, with the smallest flower on top and the largest one at the bottom. You will now have three new flowers with three distinct layers.

Step 2 Create Leaf Shapes

Cut the green paper into oval shapes of similar size. Next, fold these ovals in half and run them through a zigzag machine to create a leaf-like pattern. If you don’t have this machine, you can use a pen without ink to draw leaf veins.

Repeat this process to make six leaves. Then, glue two leaves to the back of each flower.

Step 3 Fold the Paper to Create the Card Base

Cut the red paper you prepared into a rectangle measuring 13.2cm x 20.4cm, and then fold it in half horizontally.

From the folded edge, measure and mark two points, A and B, 3.6cm away from each other. On the width edge of the paper, find the midpoint, C, equidistant from the corners E and F. Connect AC and BC. Fold the square corners along the AC and BD edges inward.

Using the white square paper with a side length of 9cm, identify a line 3.6cm away from one corner, and then cut off the small triangle based on this line. Place this white paper in the center of the red card base.

Step 4 Assemble the Flowers and Write Your Greeting

Glue two of the flowers you made onto the white paper, and place the third flower in the center of the red card base’s triangular flaps. Now you have a cute handmade card!

Write a sweet greeting on the white part of the card, and it’s ready to be given to your loved ones or friends.
