On October 29, Tuệ Như, Hồ Quang Hiếu’s wife, announced her pregnancy with a video and the caption, “Baby is coming.” The couple, who have been married for over a year, are now expecting their first child together, with the singer becoming a father at the age of 41.
Hồ Quang Hiếu and Tuệ Như tied the knot over a year ago but have not yet held a wedding ceremony. When asked about this, Hồ Quang Hiếu shared that they had planned to have a child first and then organize a wedding: “Some people might think we’re rushing things since we decided to have a baby after only three months of dating, but we’re both mature and thoughtful individuals who consider things carefully before making decisions. I’m not getting any younger, and the thought of living a lonely life scares me (laughs). Having a child was always part of our plan, and we wanted our child to be old enough to witness our wedding day and share in our happiness.”
Hồ Quang Hiếu is now married to Tuệ Như. Previously, the couple had planned to get married while also trying for a baby. According to Tuệ Như, all her sisters-in-law already had children, so everyone, especially her mother-in-law, was eagerly awaiting Hồ Quang Hiếu’s child.

“I don’t feel any pressure, but to be honest, since Hiếu is older, it would be better to have a child sooner rather than later,” Tuệ Như confessed. “After giving birth and getting our family settled, I plan to return to modeling and acting. I understand how much Hiếu longs for a child because I’ve put myself in his shoes.”
Hồ Quang Hiếu recalled, “We got married just a few days after we started dating. My wife may be younger, but she’s very mature. She had already discussed it with her mother, and she made the decision herself. When she told her family about our marriage, they were surprised. I wasn’t worried about anything because I was sincere. Later, I went to her parents’ house to ask for their blessing for our wedding.”
