– Tofu: 3 pieces
– Honey: 4 tablespoons
– Cornstarch: 2 teaspoons
– Garlic
– Seasonings: 2 teaspoons chilli sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil

2. How to make tofu with honey sauce
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
– After buying tofu, wash it, let it drain, and cut it into small square pieces.
– Depending on your preference, you can cut the tofu into small bite-sized cubes.
– Peel the garlic, wash it, and mince it.
– Put 1 teaspoon of cornstarch in a small bowl, then add about 1 tablespoon of water and stir well.
Step 2: Marinate the tofu
– Take a large bowl, put the cut tofu in, and add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and olive oil one by one.
– Shake well so that the olive oil and cornstarch coat a thin layer on each piece of tofu.
Step 3: Grill or fry the tofu
– Place the tofu pieces that have been coated with olive oil and cornstarch on a baking tray. Then put them in the oven or an air fryer and bake at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
– If you do not have an oven or air fryer, you can take a small pan, add cooking oil, then fry the tofu until golden on all sides.

Step 4: Prepare the sauce
– Take a small saucepan, add minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, chilli sauce, and cornstarch slurry, then cook over low heat.
– During cooking, you can use chopsticks or a spoon to constantly stir until you get a thick and smooth mixture. Depending on your taste, you can season it to your liking.
Step 5: Coat the tofu with the sauce
– Place the grilled or fried tofu pieces on a clean plate.
– Then pour the prepared sauce over the tofu, quickly stir or toss to evenly coat the sauce on each piece of tofu.
After the tofu with honey sauce is cooked, it will have an eye-catching color with yellow crispy tofu and red sauce.
