Announcement of 2023 Grade 10 Admission Timeline for 63 Provinces and Cities

The Ministry of Education and Training Vietnam has just revealed the official entrance exam schedule for 10th grade public high schools across the country for the 2023 academic year. 63 provinces and cities in the nation, including the major metropolises of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, are included in the most comprehensive program.

Many provinces and cities have released the exam schedule for the 2023 10th grade entrance exam, which is of great interest to parents and students. Below is a detailed and specific exam schedule.

1 10th Grade Admission Application Requirements

According to the latest regulations in Clause 6 of the Regulation attached to Circular 11/2014/TT-BGDÐT, the 10th grade admission application requires the following documents:

A certified copy of the birth certificate.
A copy of the high school diploma, a certified copy of the diploma, or a temporary certificate of completion of lower secondary education.
The lower secondary school report card.
A certificate of priority entitlement (if any).
A certificate for those who have graduated from lower secondary school and have not violated the law.

2 Exam Schedule and Subjects in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)

The 10th grade exam in HCMC is scheduled to take place on June 6th and June 7th, 2023 for Mathematics and Foreign Languages. Specialized schools may have additional subjects, and integrated classes may have integrated subjects.

3 Exam Schedule and Subjects in Hanoi

In Hanoi, the 10th grade exam for public non-specialized schools is scheduled from June 10th to June 11th, 2023 and includes Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages. Specialized schools may have additional exams on June 12th, 2023. Some schools have announced specific exam schedules:

High School for Social Sciences and Humanities: June 4th
High School for Natural Sciences: June 4th-5th
University of Pedagogy High School: June 1st
Foreign Language High School: Morning of June 3rd
