Wearing tight shoes or excessive movement or prolonged exposure to the sun without proper moisturization can cause cracked and dry feet. These 10 simple tricks with natural ingredients below will help improve your feet and confidently show off your bare feet.
1. Exfoliate your feet with baking soda
Baking soda is a very powerful exfoliator. Mix baking soda with water in a ratio of 3:1, then apply it evenly on your feet, massage thoroughly, especially on the heels, toes, and rough areas of your feet. If your skin is too dry, use a pumice stone to scrub your feet. Then, rinse your feet with warm water and apply moisturizer.
You can also soak your feet with baking soda. Prepare warm water, then add 3 tablespoons of baking soda, stir well and soak your feet for 10 minutes. Next, rinse your feet with water and apply moisturizer.
2. Use apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar mixed with listerine can help soften your feet. You can mix apple cider vinegar, listerine, and warm water in a ratio of 1:1:2, then soak your feet in this mixture for 10-20 minutes, dry and exfoliate dead skin with a pumice stone.
3. Moisturize your feet with olive oil
Olive oil is a great moisturizer. Simply apply olive oil directly to your feet and wear socks before going to bed. Repeat this daily and your feet will become much softer. If you have time, gently massage your feet as well.
4. Use honey, coconut oil, sugar, and peppermint oil to exfoliate your feet
Honey is a great moisturizer and will make your feet softer, especially when mixed with sugar to create an excellent exfoliating agent. Mix 1/4 cup of brown sugar with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 3 drops of peppermint oil, then apply it evenly on your feet, rinse with warm water and dry with a towel. Remember to moisturize your feet to prevent dryness.
5. Soak your feet in fresh milk without sugar
Soak your feet in pure fresh milk, warm for about 10 minutes, then take some baking soda, massage your feet, especially rubbing well on dry and rough areas. Then continue soaking your feet in milk for another 5 minutes, rinse and dry your feet.
