Soak the beans in salt water

Put a teaspoon of salt in a bowl of hot water, stir well and then soak the beans for about 30 minutes. The salt water will reduce the moisture on the surface of the beans, making the fried beans golden and sharp. The high temperature of the water prevents the beans from becoming soft and keeps the moisture inside the beans, making the dish always rich and crispy. Therefore, the fried beans will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Blanch the beans in boiling water

Another secret to delicious fried tofu is to cut the tofu into pieces, place them on a sieve and blanch them in boiling water for about 20 seconds. This method helps the tofu pieces maintain their beautiful and firm shape. You can add a little salt to the water to increase the effectiveness.

Ensure the cleanliness of the pan

The pan must be clean to prevent sticking and breaking the tofu pieces. This is the most important thing among the tips for crispy and delicious fried tofu. It is best to use a non-stick pan that is not scratched. You can add some water to the pan to boil, clean it completely, and then pour it out to dry.

Rub ginger in the pan

One of the important tips for delicious fried tofu is after drying the pan, before pouring oil into the pan, you cut a few slices of fresh ginger and rub them evenly on the bottom and sides of the pan. This method helps prevent sticking very well.

Hot and sufficient oil

In the tips for crispy and delicious fried tofu, you must not forget the principle that the frying oil must be hot and sufficient to fully immerse the tofu. That way, the beans will have a golden and crispy skin, while the inside remains soft. If you use less oil, you will have to fry it longer, which will make the inside dry, and the oil will also absorb more, making it greasy and heavy.

After frying the beans until golden and crispy, remove them immediately and drain the oil.

Don’t flip too soon

The tofu is very fragile, especially the delicious type, so when frying, don’t flip too soon, wait for one side to turn golden before flipping.
