1. Kimchi tofu soup ingredients

– Kimchi: 100 grams

Tofu: 2 pieces

– Spring onions: 1 onion

– Garlic: 2 cloves, scallions

– Seasonings: 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon Korean chili paste, 1 tablespoon cooking oil

2. How to cook kimchi tofu soup

Step 1: Prepare ingredients

– After buying tofu, rinse with clean water and cut into small square pieces.

– Peel the onion, wash it clean, and chop it finely.

– Remove the damaged leaves of the scallions, wash them with water, and cut them into short sections.

– Peel the garlic, wash it again, and mince it.

Step 2: Stir-fry kimchi

– Place a pan on the stove, add a little cooking oil and heat it up. Then, add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.

– When you smell the aroma and it turns slightly golden, add the chopped onions and stir-fry. Then, add the kimchi and stir-fry for a while.

Step 3: Cook kimchi tofu soup

– Next, pour in 2 bowls of water and season them with 1 tablespoon of Korean chili paste and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.

– Cook until the soup boils, then add the tofu and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes before turning off the heat and serving the soup.

After processing, you will have a hot soup with an attractive color from the orange-red of the kimchi, green of the scallions, and white from the tofu. Kimchi tofu soup has a sour and spicy taste that is very appealing. This dish is best served with hot rice and is suitable for all ages.
