Summertime is here, the weather is getting hotter, and mosquitoes are becoming more annoying. Using mosquito repellent creams or mosquito-repellent incense may not be suitable for households with young children or pregnant women.
Fortunately, there are safe and environmentally friendly methods that can effectively repel mosquitoes. Here are three natural and cost-effective methods:
1. Sugar and Detergent Mixture

Mix a spoonful of sugar, a spoonful of detergent, and a small cup of water in a container. Place the mixture in a corner of the room where mosquitoes are present. The sugar attracts mosquitoes to lay eggs in the water, while the detergent kills the mosquito eggs.
2. Vinegar and Garlic Mixture

Combine two or three cloves of garlic with vinegar in a container. The scent created by the mixture is repellent to mosquitoes. Place the solution in the room to keep mosquitoes away.
3. Soap Solution, Brown Sugar, and Garlic
In a container, chop garlic and add soap. Mix in a small amount of brown sugar and white vinegar. Place the solution in a corner of the house. Mosquitoes are attracted to the aroma of brown sugar and garlic and enter the solution. Once inside, they will become exhausted and die.
