The COVID-19 pandemic is at a very challenging and complex stage, yet hundreds of experts are still making efforts to participate, connect, and carry out free health consultations for the people.
The doctors and medical professionals offering telephone consultations are currently from a wide range of diverse specialties such as: Pharmacy, Nutrition, Endocrinology, Dentistry, Otorhinolaryngology, Dermatology, Stroke Intervention, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, etc.
As the pandemic situation intensifies, many people are hesitant to visit healthcare centers or hospitals for check-ups and treatments. Among them, the proportion of people with cardiovascular, blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory, and gynecological problems is quite high, so the demand for answers to their questions and concerns has also increased.
For this reason, Dr. Do Trieu Hung, former Secretary-General of the Ho Chi Minh City Private Medical Practice Association, initiated a free health consultation campaign for the people. The experts and doctors have arranged schedules and provided phone numbers to promptly respond to anyone in need of consultation.
The campaign started on July 15, 2021, and will last until August 15, 2021.
Although the campaign is mainly for residents of Ho Chi Minh City, callers from other provinces will still be consulted as usual, without any restrictions.
