1 Use Chalk
After getting rid of ants from your bed, removing attractive food sources, and cleaning up, you can use chalk to draw a line or crush it into powder and sprinkle it around the bed or along their trail. The calcium carbonate in the chalk will create a barrier that ants won’t cross.
2 Use Black Pepper
Sprinkle black pepper in areas where ants are present, such as their trail, nest, or the base of your house, and you will quickly see them scatter and disappear.
3 Use Cucumber
Cut cucumber into slices, leave the skin on, and place them along the ants’ trail. The ants will be repelled by the cucumber, and you won’t be bothered by them anymore.
Ants dislike cucumber, and they will surely stay away from any area where they detect its presence.
4 Use Kerosene
Apply kerosene around the legs of your bed or place a small bowl of it near your bed. The strong smell of kerosene will repel the ants, and they will avoid the area around your bed.
5 Use Table Salt
Sprinkle salt in areas where ants frequently visit near your bed. Leave it there for some time, and the ants will disappear, leaving your comfortable bed all to yourself.
6 Use Soapy Water
Mix water with soap and use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe away the ants’ trail. Clean up any food, especially sweet treats, from your bed and nearby shelves to eliminate the primary attraction for ants.
