2 How to make mustard leaf kimchi
Step 1 Prepare the ingredients
Wash the mustard leaves thoroughly and drain them well. Cut off the stems of the leaves. Peel the onion and slice it thinly. Peel the carrot and julienne it. Rinse the chili peppers and slice them.
Step 2 Mix the kimchi sauce
Put the thinly sliced onion and carrot in a bowl. Add 1 spoonful of minced garlic, 2 spoons of fish sauce, 3 spoons of soy sauce, 2 spoons of Korean chili powder, 60ml of seaweed water (optional). Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Step 3 Marinate the mustard leaves
Marinate each mustard leaf with the kimchi mixture and layer the leaves in a container. Adjust them carefully to marinate all the leaves! Pour the remaining seasonings into the container.
Step 4 Finished product
You can enjoy fresh mustard leaf kimchi after marinating it for about 30 minutes. Or after 30 minutes, store the mustard leaf kimchi in the refrigerator and use it within 2 weeks.
